This position may entail any and/or all the statutory duties of the County Attorney's Office as assigned and exhibit the highest standards of conduct in order to instill confidence and trust in the Blue Earth County Attorney’s Office.   • Information: Under the direction of the Assistant County Engineer, the Project Engineer is responsible for work used in the planning, construction and maintenance of the County’s transportation system. The position will provide civil engineering duties to include supervision, management and coordination of: survey, design, staking and inspection of construction projects; assisting, training and guiding engineering technicians in highway design, engineering principles, practices and procedures, determination of data collection needs, geometrics, pavement design, hydraulic design, signing and striping design, traffic control layouts, interpreting State and Federal regulations, preparation of environmental permits or reports, determining right of way needs; assisting with highway permit reviews, and additional tasks as assigned.
