  • Technician Level I: This level in the Engineering Series is responsible for completing routine work to support the planning, design, construction, and permitting of County construction projects. Solid Waste Officer

Facilities Supervisor

Human Resources Coordinator

  • Information: The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for administering employee leave programs including FMLA and ADA, which may include: comparing processes for compliance with established guidelines; updating process documentation to ensure alignment with guidelines; responding to a variety of questions related to programs to ensure compliance. Serves as HR representative on assigned interview teams. Ensures the interview process remains in compliance with federal, state laws and county policies. Oversees applicant testing process, ensures testing appropriately measures skills needed for various positions. Assists in return to work strategies to maximize productivity and minimize lost time. Organize and lead county Safety Committee and Safety Training programs for staff. Participates in new employee onboarding including new employee orientation, policy review and sign off, benefit enrollment, introduction to the county, and providing the information new employees need to become effective and successful team members at Mower County. This position varies from the other positions in the department in that the incumbent serves as a lead worker to the other positions and triages matters that arise in the absence of the Human Resources Director.
